Planning Collaborative Approaches for Better Understanding of Students
For many teachers, a very attractive aspect of their profession is the opportunity to be both teachers and learners. One way to bring these roles together is collaborative teaching. Successful collaborative teaching has the potential to benefit all concerned as teachers stand to gain in terms of their professional development, while utilizing a partner to help them set objectives, make plans, implement lessons and evaluate the results.
The Poster will describe the process of collaborative planning and teaching at a business school between teachers teaching English and Human Resources Management. It will also illustrate types of collaborative teaching arrangements, collaborative relationships and team learning, the attitudes and beliefs of the teachers, and learning impacts upon the students.
